Iâm transferred off of Gala surrounded by Imperial guards but not the ones from the official military that brought me here. Guards wearing navy blue and with an insignia I assume must be Kamosâs. There are no other women with me, but Iâd be a fool to think he only bought me. Most likely he wants to keep me separate from the others as a precaution. If I were him, Iâd do the same. I wouldnât want a knowledgeable pet telling the others whatâs going to happen to them. That would ruin the surprise when they found out. And one thing Iâve learned in the galaxy is that alien males love to surprise their human pets.
Iâm led on my leash into a transport and strapped in. No one makes eye contact or talks to me. Itâs all very bizarre given that Iâd just been on a ship with Imperial people who treated me as an equal. And now I could pee all over the seat and theyâd blame themselves for not thinking of my needs. Itâs like social whiplash and I have a moment where I question if Gael and Terra Ka even existed or was all of that a dream?
My mind canât resist the opportunity to think of Gael then. The first man who ever took my opinion into account since I left Earth. And he met me in the same condition as these men. But the difference was he wanted more than sex from me. But we still had sex, I canât keep those images of his naked body against mine from my mind now as much as I want to suppress them to keep them sacred. My mind refuses to lock them away.
Itâs not long before we are boarding a massive starship. There are Imperial men everywhere in the navy blue uniforms with Kamosâs mark. I can make out bits and pieces of what theyâre saying but for the most part Iâm ignorant. All I know right now is that Iâm being taken to see a doctor.
No surprises there. Kamos will want to make sure for himself that Iâm healthy. Everyone still remembers the human who purposely infected herself with a disease to kill her Imperial master. Lord Juo told me the story as evidence of how cruel Imperials are to humans. But alien males in the galaxy will say anything about humans to keep our status low so I donât know if that ever really happened.
The medical center is busy. Iâm made to wait with the guard whoâs leading me around. He commands me to sit at his feet on the cold floor. Itâs degrading, but I do it. I take this opportunity to watch and learn. Everyone in the medical center is male which isnât surprising. In a matriarchal galaxy, women tend to make men go out and do their bidding while they stay on planet safe and sound.
After about 30 minutes the doctor says heâll see me. He doesnât talk to me of course, but the guard holding my leash.
